The Ride Through Denali National Park by Landrie L

Today everyone had an early wake up call. We got up at five o’clock in the morning because we had to catch an early shuttle bus at Denali National Park for a wilderness tour. Once everyone got their sack breakfasts and lunches packed and their cameras and binoculars ready, we all set of in the vans to the shuttle station. When we got there we each of us got into one of three groups since we were all going in different buses.  Everyone was really excited about it and were hoping to see some animals on the way but once we got on the bus it was kind of rainy and everyone was a little bummed out because we didn’t think our chances of seeing any animals was that great but we finally started to see some. We saw all sheep, caribou, moose, wolves, and also a mother bear with her cubs. We met a lot of really cool people on the way too, like a hiker that had just gotten back from climbing Mt. McKinley. The views were also really beautiful with mountains surrounding us. When we got back from the tour everyone was really tired and hungry, which was good because we went to a pizza place called Lynx Creek next. The pizza was amazing! Then afterward everyone spent about an hour shopping at some of the gift shops in town. That night we went back to the campsite and all went to bed because we were all pretty exhausted.
