Drive to Seward by Lauren P

Yesterday after two nights of sleeping in a church we finally departed off to Seward! The drive took about 5 hours but we made it fun with some short stops! Our first stop was at Sam’s club to go and re-load up on van snacks! Then we headed over to Potter’s Creek! Potter’s Creek is a really cool tourist place where you can go and climb up to see some really amazing scenery. Or you can climb down to get really close to the rushing water of the creek. It was really awesome and a beautiful place to take pictures. Then we made our last stop to eat lunch at this place called
The Bake Shop where we got all you can eat soup! We were served one huge sourdough roll and a huge bowl of hot soup! It was really good and filling! Only a small handful of people actually went up for seconds! Then we were able to go and shop at this cool jade shop, where they sold really pretty and inexpensive jewelry! Then we were back on the road to Seward! We got here just in time for dinner and to set up tents. After a filling dinner of hotdogs we had some free time, hug time, and then we were off to bed!!
