Alaska Is

Alaska is the great unknown. This land holds many secrets that may never be revealed. From the beautiful snow topped mountains, to the magnificent wild animals. This land is beyond anything I could imagine. I will always remember the great sight of Mount McKinley along with the slow moving glaciers. The big black bear and the small grizzly cubs. I am making memories that I will keep forever.
This land is changing me. Teaching me how to respect life and love the people around me. I don’t know if I will ever return to Alaska so I want to make the most of every minute I’m here. This unknown land is slowly being explored but as time goes on we should all remember the great unknown.

Final Reflections

Going on this trip has really opened my eyes to see the world in a different perspective. Looking back at what I accomplished in Alaska is unbelievable. I climbed three different mountains, hiked a trail where we saw a Black Bear less than 30 yards away, went swimming at the North Pole along with seeing about 70 feeding Killer Whales. I was lucky enough to go Halibut Fishing and meet some of the coolest people ever. I am going to take all of my memories from this trip with me as I continue to grow up. I know AGLP has changed my life forever and I am thankful for the new family members I have made along the way.
