Alaska Is

Alaska is a beautiful landscape with white cap mountains and new opportunities. It’s a trip worth going on. Especially seeing animals I haven’t seen in the wild and the mountains we climb. It’s peaceful place filled with many harmonies I’ve never heard of. It’s a place of joy and happiness.

Final Reflections

Alaska is the biggest state and that makes it the most scenic to me. On the first day all the mountains amazed me, but boy was I in for surprise if I thought that was beautiful.  When we went to grizzly Bear we climbed Mt. Healy, when we reached the top the sight was beautiful.  I saw a river with the mountains and trees in the background. I thought I was in a dream.  This was a proud moment for me.  We took the Alaskan Great Lake Project (AGLP) picture and headed down.  The next part I liked was the Denali National Park.  I think that was my favorite. It was the first time I saw wild bear and moose, plus we got to see plenty of dall sheep and caribou.  We had a rare event of seeing a wolf!  After that, we watched a dog sled demonstration; this was a first for me.  We went to a Native Heritage Museum and it was amazing.  The best part was the Eskimo games.  A couple days later, we had a boat trip to Resurrection Bay where we saw three humpback whales, seventy orcas, and many seals and sea otters.  It was the first time I saw all of these.  I had my birthday while I was in Alaska along with several others on the trip.  At Seaside Farms (the best campsite ever) we had a lot of fun.  We went tide pooling in Homer with Conrad (the most interesting person I have every met). I had the time of my life. Everything that I have accomplished on this trip pushes me to want to come back again and I hope I will.
