Alaska Is

Alaska is large majestic and beautiful. The mountains large, the valleys vast, the forest wide, the rivers long. The whales monstrous, the salmon small, the birds high, the moose low, the trees gigantic, the oceans massive, Alaska is a land of beauty and nature.

Final Reflections

In the beginning of our trip we started at a church in Palmer. The first thing we did was climbing the butte, a small mountain like hill. Later that day we went swimming at a pool in Palmer. The next day we drove to Denali. While there we climbed Mt. Healy and we went through Denali National Park. Later we drove to Fairbanks to do the Midnight Sun run and the Panners baseball game and the farmers market. We then left then went back to Denali. In Denali we walked the Three Lakes Trail and went to a dog sled demo at the National Park. We then went to the Heritage Center and met an Iditarod racer. We then came back to Palmer and slept at the church again. We left and went to Seward. At Seward we did the boat tour and went to the aquarium.  Then we left for Homer and stayed at the seaside farm that was run by a nice lady named Mossy. While there we went to the Homer Spit and I found the best coffee shop in the world! We also went tide polling with a man named Conrad and his daughter. Later we did a nature walk with Conrad again. We then drove once more to Palmer to stay at the church and went to climb the Butte again. My favorite thing in Alaska was meeting Conrad and finding marine life on the docks. IT was really fun and interesting. Alaska has to be one of the best places I’ve been for a big trip!
