As I discussed with Mary Fiore in Hatcher’s Pass, I quickly discovered that she is very into the great state of Alaska. Mary is a citizen in Kingston, Massachusetts and is visiting Alaska for her first time. She is visiting her brother who lives in Eagle River, Alaska. Mary had spent her second day in Alaska similarly to the AGLP participants.
Mary explained to me how Alaska exceeded her expectations. “I really like the waterfalls and the mountains. ” She also told me that she would be halibut fishing in Homer the next day. So far Fiore’s favorite part of Alaska has been looking at all of the beautiful scenery. Mary has enjoyed her time and can’t wait for everything else Alaska has to offer.
