Karla Solis – Day 5

Karla Solis – Day 5

Oh my, where do I start? Today we drove through Denali National Park by bus. We were part of only 30 percent of people that get to see Mount McKinley, the highest peak of North America. What a beautiful and majestic sight.
The second awesome part of the ride was yelling “stop”. Anyone of the 40 pairs of eyes that saw an animal got to yell stop. Then the cameras came out and people crowded around to glimpse the moose, caribou, or bears. We also saw dall dall sheep, a Ptarmigan bird, which is Alaska’s state bird, and also a couple of fox.
We stopped for pizza at the Lynx Creek restaurant in Denali and did a little shopping. We ended the day with some sharing game playing. The group got many compliments and I attribute that to what great young adults that their parents are raising.
